Also, our Fall Celebration will be held on Friday. Students should bring their costumes to school in a bag labeled with their name. Information about the parade was also in you child's Friday Folder.


Spelling – List # 7 Study Words, Pre-Test is MOnday. Monday's homework is to write corrections 3 times each. Tuesday is ABC order paper, and Wednesday is Word Search. Post test will be next Monday, Nov. 2 due to Halloween festivities on Friday. List words are as follows:

Grammar - This week we will be studying regular plural nouns. We will have a quiz on this on Thursday this week. Study the family times newsletter.


Reading - We are starting the story "Coyote School News" . The skill for this week is drawing conclusions and finding the origins of words. The vocab for this week is on the family times newsletter. Please study each night. Test on the vocab and skills will be next Monday, Nov. 2.



Math - We are continuing topic 1. Homework for Monday will be to finish any lesson 1-2 work not completed in school. Tuesday will be practice 1-3, Wednesday will be practice 1-4, and Thursday will be practice 1-5. Test on this topic will not be until the end of next week, tentatively on NOvember 5 or 6.


Social Studies- There are a few students who need to finish and hand in their social studies PA projects. They are due by no later than WEdnesday of this week for those who are still assembling the project.

Science - We are finishing technology and design this week and moving on to chapter 3, plants and animals.
