Week of May 15 - 19, 2016

ElA- We are starting the story "Jim Thorpe's Bright Path" this week. We will be reviewing the skills fact/opinion this week. vocabulary for this story is as follows: boarding school, dormitory, endurance, manual, reservation, and society. Please review each night on the family times letter. Test will be Friday.

Grammar - Our skill this week will be capitalization and abbreviations. Study the family times letter. quiz will be on Friday.

Spelling - pretest on MOnday. Study words each evening. Homework may vary this week . There may be sentences to write using the spelling words as well as writing the words in abc order and corrections. Post test will be Friday.


Math - We will be finishing up topic 14 this week. Test will be on Thursday.
