Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013


The "person I admire" papers are due tomorrow. We were working on these before the Christmas break so some students are already finished, but some need to rewrite a good copy and hand in on Thursday, Jan 3.

Spelling- We will have a pretest on the next list on Thursday. No homework in spelling tonight.

Reading- We are starting a new story called "Adelina's Whales". Use new vocabulary words in a paragraph using topic sentence found on textbook page 295 in the reading textbook.

Grammar- complete workbook 46, we are working on main and helping verbs. Test on this will be next Tuesday.

Science- We are starting a new topic... electricity and magnetism. No homework tonight.

Spelling - pretest today, make corrections in your spelling notebook... five times each. Complete p. 46

Grammar- complete p. 47 if not finished

Reading- complete workbook p. 117



Friday, Jan. 4, 2013

spelling - complete p. 47 - 48 over the weekend. Use 10 words in sentences in your spelling notebook.

Grammar- finish p. 48 if not finished, study what a main and helping verb is

reading - Read over Adelina's Whales over the weekend.. complete the trifold if you want extra credit.
