With the school closing until the 30th of the month, please continue to practice multiplication and long division at home! MEMORIZE your multiplication facts.. this is a great time to practice them with your family at home.
When we return to school,we will be reviewing multiplication and division and getting into fractions. Some things we will be working on with fractions are comparing fractions (>,< or =), ordering fractions from greatest to least and least to greatest, adding and subtracting with and without common denominators, converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and vice versa, and adding and subtracting mixed numbers. If you go to math antics.com you can get a head start on all of these things by watching the videos and trying a few problems. Please also continue to go on prodigy to keep your math skills sharp. There are many other great practice sites for math that have been listed on facebook on my page and many other teacher pages. Please take some time to keep your academic skills in tact, but most of all keep healthy and enjoy your time with your families!
