For the next 2 weeks in math we will be working on 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication and starting division. In multiplication, we have learned how to multiply using the standard algorithm ( usual way) and also using what we call an area model or box method. In order to complete these problems accurately, you need to know the basic multiplication facts up to the 9s. Please continue to study those facts so that they are memorized.
Homework for the next 2 weeks will be practice in multiplication and division. We will also have a quiz on multiplication this week and another on patterns, place value, and multiplication next week as a review before the Christmas break.
