The first academic assignment for the my homeroom is to study the spelling list that corresponds with the story "Because of Winn Dixie". This list can be found on p. 44 of the Reader's and Writer's Notebook which is the consumable reading/grammar/spelling workbook. This year all three of those subjects are combined into one practice book. The PRETEST for this list will be Thursday, August 28. If a 100% is received on the pretest then there will be no additional work to complete for that list. Anyone who does not receive a 100 will need to complete the given practice pages by next week, Wednesday, Sept. 2.
