Welcome back and welcome 2020. The first full week of January we will be starting our next unit on multiplication and division. We will be learning how to multiply larger numbers using the standard algorithm as well as the box method and other helpful strategies. For division, we will be learning long division, as well as some other methods as well.
Homework will start back up the week of Jan. 6. Each week, the students will be given the homework at the beginning of the week and it will be due either Thursday or Friday of that week. In most cases, the homework will be graded and averaged into a homework grade towards the final math average at the end of the quarter.
We are continuing our Spring Math. Keep practicing all basic facts including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
