We will be finishing topic 3, Place value, this week. Our first test on this topic will be Tuesday for Mr. Leibig's, and Mrs. Herring's homerooms. Mrs. Reinoehl/Mrs. Eger's homeroom will be taking the test on Wednesday. Homework for the first part of the week will be to study the 4 times tables and to study topic 3 place value ( standard form, expanded form, writing numbers in words, comparing numbers using <,>, or =, and rounding numbers). We will then move on to topic 2 , patterns. Homework once we begin, we be for lessons 2-1, and 2-2 ( Wednesday and Thursday). We will have our usual pretest on the 4 times tables Monday, and a post test on Friday. Please study the 4 times tables this week as well as reviewing the 0, 1, 2, and 3 times tables.
Please make sure homework in finished and handed in the day it is due. Missed homework will now be counted as we move into October. After 3 missed assignments, students will need to serve an after school detention. Thank you in advance for your hard work and support this year in math!
