Week of May 2 -6, 2016

The 4th grade field trip will be Tuesday May 3rd

*Chaperones: Please notify your classroom teacher immediately if you are unable to attend on Tuesday.

*Students who ordered a school lunch: your lunch will still be available from the cafeteria for Tuesday.

*EVERYONE needs to wear closed shoes, per LACAWAC.

Parents,
If you are taking your child home after the field trip on Tuesday, please send a note in with your child before the field trip so the office is aware. This will alleviate congestion in the office.

All day band rehearsal is Wednesday...make note of the change!

This week we will be following our regular schedule which is special at 9am, 1 recess and back to the books full time.
ElA; we will get back to our usual spelling, grammar, and reading routine this week. We will have a pretest on Monday in spelling. Please refer to the list on the family times letter that goes with the story "Moonwalk". We will have corrections due on Wednesday, word search for Wednesday's homework, and ABC order sheet due on Friday with the post test on Friday. Grammar this week we will be continuing to practice identifying prepositional phrases. We will have a quiz on Friday. We will also have a reading test on Friday, so study the vocabulary on the family times letter each evening.

Math- We will be finishing up topic 14 this week. Homework will be tentatively 14-4, 14-5, 14-6, 14-7 this week. We will allow for time to complete most of it in school, but please check over it each evening.
