December 14 - December 23, 2015

Following is the tentative homework for the next 8 days of school:


Math - We are starting topic 7 on Tuesday. HOmework will be P7-1 on Tuesday, P7-2 on Wednesday, P7-3 on Thursday, and P7-4 on Friday. Monday, Dec. 21 homework will be P7-5. Test will be Tuesday or Wednesday before Christmas break on topic 7.


Reading - We are going to be working on the skills that go with the story "Adelina's Whales" this week. We will be reviewing fact and opinion, our vocabulary words, and reading and discussing stories about animal migration. Please study the vocabulary words each night. A test on this story will be next Tuesday, Dec. 22.


Spelling - post test on list 12 will be Wednesday of this week ( Dec. 16). We will not start a new list until after Christmas break


Grammar- We are working on main and helping verbs. We will have a quiz next Tuesday, Dec. 22, on this. We are practicing identifying and using verbs in school, so please review at home each night.


Science/S. Studies- We will continue to work in school on ecosystems in science, and PA resources in social studies.
