Homework for the week of December 3 - 6, 2013

Tuesday, December 3

Grammar- We will not be starting a new grammar lesson. We will be completing the Daily Fix it activities in class and working on our "Person I Admire" papers for the Pottsville Republican contest

Reading - complete the Fact-Opinion packet

Science - Mrs. Nestor's class will need to finish up the Water cycle shape booklets
Mrs. Reinoehl's class will be complete the Weather "acrostic" poems

Spelling - We will not start a new spelling lesson this week since we are starting a writing assignment.

Wednesday, December 4

Grammar - rewrite the "Person I Admire " essay making sure that it contains no spelling or mistakes in grammar. You will be getting special paper to write this on and it will be graded according to your neatness and correct spelling and grammar as well as the content of what you wrote.

Reading - New story "If I was President.." , write a paragraph in your reading/grammar notebook following the directions on p. 243 "Words to Write" in your reading textbook.


Science - we will be studying cloud types. Finish any papers started in school and study the different types of clouds and the weather they indicate. Test on clouds and a review of the water cycle will be sometime next week.
