Spelling - complete p. 25 in your spelling practice book.
Reading- test on story "What Jo Did" tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct.23. Review the scavenger hunt carefully and also the trifold if your class completed it.
Grammar- no homework
Tuesday, Oct. 23 ( day 4 - special is computers)
spelling - complete p. 26 in your spelling practice book, pretest on lesson 7, make corrections 3 times each in spelling notebook
Reading - Write final draft of poem that we worked on in class. Your poem should be at least 3- 4 stanzas.
Grammar- no homework
Wednesday, Oct. 24 ( day 5 - special is gym)
Spelling - complete p. 27, be sure to be studying the list words
reading- Sentences using new vocabulary words for story "Coyote School News". Make sure the sentences are NEAT, make sense, and are written in your reading/grammar notebooks. Don't forget to label this assignment with the date and name of story.
Grammar- finish grammar practice book p. 25. Our new concept for the week is plural nouns.
Thursday, Oct 25 ( day 1 - special is library)
Spelling - complete p. 28, post test for any who need to take it
Reading - finish any practice book pages we did not complete in class ( practice book p. 63, 64, 65 )
Grammar- complete the bottom of grammar practice book p. 26
Friday, Oct. 26 ( day 2 - special is art)
Spelling - review list 8 over the weekend
Reading - review first 1/2 of scavenger hunt on story "Coyote School News". Reread story over the weekend.
Grammar- test on Monday on plural nouns, study the practice book pages and family news letter section on grammar.
