Homework week of Sept. 8 - 12, 2008

We will be reviewing our colors in school this week. We are asking that you dress your child in the “color of the day” according to the schedule:
Monday, September 8: blue
Tuesday, September 9:green
Wednesday, September 10: brown
Thursday, September 11: black
Friday, September 12: red

Our letter for the week is “o” as in octopus. Show and tell will be Friday. Your child can bring in either an object beginning with the letter “o” or an object that is has one of our colors of the week on it. We will also have an Occupational Therapist visit us on Friday.
In math we are continuing positional words like above, below, over, under, in, out, left, right. We will also be learning to sort objects by color, size, shape, and kind.

Our book fair is this week. Parent shopping night is Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Students will have an opportunity to shop on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 9:50. If you would like your child to purchase books please send in the money in an envelope with your child’s name and amount enclosed.

Tuesday- day 5 ( phys. Ed)
Wednesday – day 6 ( book exchange)
Thursday – day 1 ( library)
Friday – day 2 ( computer)
