Homework for this week is as follows:
Reading- We are finishing up the story and skills for "Letters Home to Yosemite". The test on this will be Wednesday. Review the vocabulary words found in the family times letter in the ELA folders. We will not start a new story until next week, so there will not be any other reading homework.
Grammar- No new grammar lesson this week. We will be studying common and proper nouns next week when we begin unit 2 in reading. This week we will be reviewing what was covered in unit 1 including ; types of sentences, clauses, subject and predicates.
Spelling - no spelling homework this week. I will send home the next list on Friday in order to prepare for the pretest that will be next Monday.
Math - We will be continuing to work on adding and subtracting numbers this week. We will not have math homework on Tuesday except for fact corrections. Wednesday and Thursday we will be working on subtraction and the homework will be practicing that. We will be finishing up this topic early next week. A test will most likely be next Tuesday or Wednesday.
Social STudies- We are working on the PA projects in school. They may be sent home to be finished up for homework on Thursday. Projects are due on Friday.
Science - We are moving on to chapter 2. We will be focusing on the vocabulary and inquiry activities. There will not be any homework unless we need to finish up any work that is not completed in school.
