This week we will get back to our normal schedule now that we are finished PSSA testing.

Spelling ( 4R only)
We will be having a pretest on our next list on Wednesday. This list goes with the story "Navajo Code Talkers" . The list is as follows: nation, special, lotion, mansion, precious, creation, vacation, tension, especially, motion, tradition, gracious, extension, addition, caution, official, solution, suspension, politician, portion. HOMEWORK for Monday and Tuesday is to study for the pretest on Wednesday.
Reading -We will be reading the story "Encantado". This is about the pink dolphins of the Amazon. The only homework will be to prepare for a test that will be Wednesday for my homeroom and Thursday for Mrs. Nestor's homeroom. Study the vocabulary words: aquarium, dolphins, enchanted, flexible, glimpses, pulses, and surface. The main skill of this story is compare and contrast.
Grammar- We will be practicing identifying and using types of pronouns. We will focus on subject and object pronouns. Homework will be any unfinished workbook or practice pages from class. We will have a quiz on this topic on Friday.
Science- We are going to move on to the chapter on Earth and space. Homework will be determined by how much we get done in class. There will be a new set of vocabulary cards. Everyone should review those daily.
VO- We will have a quiz on the suffixes on the fourth quarter list on Friday. Study nightly.
