Monday Day 2
Spelling - Make corrections from pretest ( 3 times each). Complete p. 40 for homework
VO- I moved the test to this Wednesday on words 1 - 30, I decided that because the root words, suffixes, and prefixes are so difficult, we would test on root words next week, then prefixes the following week and once again suffixes before Christmas break.
We will also finish up going over the words from now until Christmas.
reading - We are starting a new story called "The Stranger". For homework tonight, use the new vocabulary words in sentences in your reading notebook.
Grammar- new lesson this week on action and linking verbs. Homework tonight is grammar practice book p. 42
Science - We have finished up the skeletal system. We will have a test on bones on Wednesday. Study the highlighted material from your packet
Tuesday Day 3
Spelling - Complete p. 42 for homework
VO - Keep studying!!
Reading - read story "The Stranger" and begin the trifold ( this is optional but I highly recommend completing it as it is a great review as well as extra credit)
grammar- complete grammar book p. 43
Science - Study the bones ( study the review sheet sent home)
Wednesday Day 4
Spelling - Test Friday on list 11 , make sure pages 43 and 44 are finished in your spelling book
grammar - test tomorrow on action and linking verbs
reading - do practice book p. 107
Science - Test today.. no homework
Thursday Day 5
Spelling - test tomorrowy on list 11/ next week list will be a set of seasonal words
Grammar- Test today on linking and action verbs/ NO homework
Reading - Study the scavenger hunt questions that are completed
Science - NO homework
