Kindergarten News
· In Phonics we will be learning the letter Rr and its sound as in rabbit and radio. This is our 13th letter so we will be half way through the alphabet! Please continue to review all letters and sounds learned so far, and follow your classroom schedule for Show & Tell.
· We do not have school on Monday, December 1st. School will reopen on Tuesday, December 2nd. Tuesday will be Day 6 for special classes—just a reminder to bring library books for book exchange.
· In Math we will continue working in Chapter 5: Geometry and Fractions. Please review solid and plane shapes.
· Just a reminder, Santa’s Shop will be here the week of Dec. 2nd through Dec. 12th. Kindergarten is scheduled to shop first on December 3rd and 4th (see schedule below), with an extra date of Wednesday, December 10th from 12:30-3:00, if needed. If your child is shopping, please secure any money in an envelope and return it on the day he/she will shop.
