Kindergarten News
This week in Phonics we will be learning the vowel letter Ii and its short sound as in igloo and inch and its long sound as in ice. Please review sounds and writing of all letters learned so far. Boys and girls get ready for another tough week for Show & Tell.
**In Math we will be working on Chapter 4 Numbers 6-10. Keep practicing counting sets and identifying and writing numbers correctly.
**Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 4th and Thursday, November 6th. Please check your scheduled date and time and try to be prompt. Be prepared with any questions/concerns you may have for your child’s teacher. Anyone who wanted a conference, or who has not received confirmation of a conference, needs to contact his/her child’s teacher as soon as possible.
**Tuesday, November 4th is Election Day. Don’t forget to VOTE! Students will be learning about voting and may even get to vote for which candidate they think will be our next President of the United States!
**This weekend ends Daylight Savings Time. Remember to turn your clocks back one hour. (Spring forward—Fall back!)
